Is there a story here or are you referring to the ghosting of people in the shot? If there's a story I'd love to hear it!

The story is my wife told me to go take a hike when I asked her to get out of the photo :-D.

That's her and one of my daughters planning in the pool below the fall. My other daughter was running around the base of the waterfall, but I guess she was moving enough to not show up in the image.

I also made some concessions in my exposure so I didn't turn our trip to the falls in to a photo expedition, though I would have loved to :-P. Would have shot at ISO 100, but I would have been at a few minutes per shot.

This is Babcock SP. We were planning to camp, but storms rolled in so chickened out and were fortunate enough to get a cabin. These rapids were just over the hill; heard the roiling all night. Loved it. Your home state is truly Nature's Playground.

Here is another favorite waterfall shot from the park. I have a few from Cathedral Falls, so will post when I finish working through them.

HA... Not only my home state, but my home ground!! I'm very familiar with Babcock State Park and Gauley Bridge. I grew up in the area (Montgomery). Here's my very old pic of grist mil. I was actually just talking to my wife an hour ago about going back to that exact spot.

No story, just the "ghosts" in the shot".

Cathedral Falls, just another wonder in WV - Incredibly, this falls is right next to the parking lot. (although, lotta smash & grab since the thieves can just bolt).

AHHHH. I've been waiting on this one. Great representation of the falls. How crowded was it? Seems there's always someone there you have to wait on.
Just curious... You seem to be hitting a lot of the unknowns. Are you familiar with the area or do you have family in the area?

Just across the road and up the hill about 50-75 yards is a pull off and you can go down to the railroad tracks, walk across the train bridge and walk down some "steps" to the river. Some great shot opportunities there as well.

GREAT SHOT. Thanks for bringing a little bit of home to me...…

This is Sabbaday Falls in the White Mountain National Forest. It is located on the Kancamaugus Highway, and just a short hike to the falls from the parking area.
It's about an our from me, of which we took a great motorcycle ride to the falls.
There were very few people, and the breeze kept the mosquitos away.

Last of my waterfall images from a recent trip through West Virginia. These are falls 2 and 3 of a set that occurs over ~a mile.
I was feeling plucky so shot in B&W Yellow only. Can't say enough about Nik coming back under DxO. Gosh, Nik is some amazing software.
