This is probably my favorite sunset I've ever taken. It was in a small inlet on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. I took a 3 shot +/- 2 stop bracket and merged to HDR in Lightroom, but I ended up processing it so that it looks pretty much the same as the middle exposure alone.

As soon as I saw this image, I was sure that it was a Scottish west coast shot. Then my eyes spotted your home location! Hurrah, you have some all the way across the pond to shoot wall-hangers :-)

It's a stunning shot so hasrte ye back for more photography - and spread the word!

Half of my family is Scottish so I come back not infrequently for vacations and to visit my relatives. The beautiful landscapes for photography are just a bonus!

This is a Great Shot... Nice job.

Would you happen to have an BW version? I think this would be great in BW.

Thanks 308! I don't have a BW version, but one is only a few clicks away :-)

Well... maybe a couple clicks.. LOL I'm finding myself enjoying BW a lot lately and trying to improve my conversion techniques to make it smooth with all the tonal values.

Either way though, I love your shot...

Funny...I have almost the exact shot from a few years back. The Fence line, and "ditches" in the ground really caught my eye.
