A shot taken as I was waiting for the fireworks last Friday in Queenstown, NZ. I was glad that the moon wasn't up yet.

Just getting into doing these shots and I'm hooked. This is in central Nebraska.
Fuji X-T1, 25mm, f1.8, 13s, iso3200, quick corrections done in snapseed.

wow, the coma in the corners is crazy! I have not seen it be like that before! The Batis 25 does it some too, and actually suffers more from chromatic aberrations...

That's about the only thing I don't like about the 7artisans lens so far. Otherwise, for the price it's not bad.

They make a few different inexpensive manual focus lenses for mirrorless cameras. I picked up the 25mm 1.8 for about $70 from B&H. Here's their website http://www.7artisans.com/en/ (external link)

Have you tried to stop it down? One of my old f:1.4 lenses had pretty bad aberrations in the corners, too. Then I stopped it down, and at f:2.8, it's about the sharpest lens I have, corner to corner.

I tried that but unfortunately it's made no difference. Again, for the price, I'm not going to complain too much :p

So I didn't notice the clouds until I started processing the image.
The glow is from a city 70 miles away.

I picked up their 7.5mm f2.8 fisheye and its not bad on M43rds. I am back today from my trip to the Blue Ridge Pkwy. This is a vertical combination of two frames using a Samyang 12mm f2 lens at f2.8. The milky way was a 60 second exposure (alignment wasn't the best as I had to guess due to clouds) and the mountains (Waterrock Knob) was a 20 second exposure. I used long exposure noise reduction and am pretty happy with how it turned out :-) The glow on the left is from Cherokee NC

One from my home town, lucky to get the MW I think as I’m a 5 minute walk from the town centre here.

Went out to Borrego Springs, CA on Monday. And before it drives you crazy, the foreground is the tail of a giant metal scorpion sculpture by Ricardo Breceda.
