The first one flew right over my head protecting the babies
(So protective)

The second one baby Black Skimmer wishing it could fly stretching it's wing
(they are so precious)

Happy shooting

Very nicely done flight shot of the skimmer, Shalu. Your're right, they surely are popular right now.

Love the outstretched wings and colours and plumage.

Beautiful action shot. Very nice.

Two beautifully photographed birds.

It's the dragonflies that make this shot IMO. There just happens to be a white-faced ibis in the photo. :-)

Levina are you suddenly interested in Sony ????

Not suddenly, Robert. Ever since Canon came out with the 6DII, a camera I had planned to buy and then couldn't because it was such a disappointment, I've been looking at other brands. I wouldn't mind switching to Sony. Problem is that I think the A9 is currently the only Sony camera good enough for fast action but that camera is a fair bit outside my price range. However, maybe when the prices of used ones drop enough I might just buy one. And then that new 200-600mm would be mighty interesting. So I'm following developments. I don't know, I just think my 1DIV is getting long in the tooth, you know, and I'm looking at options. :-)
