Griffon Vulture. I'm using the 100-400 all the time now as the 1DX2 will not work with my Canon 2.8 MKII.

Very nice capture of this magnificent vulture.

I have both a 1DXII and 5DIV. I use the 5D a lot at weddings (ceremony) because of the superb silent mode. I can creep around the church and no one pays me any attention. My question is this: I don't find a whole lot of difference between the two bodies, regardless of photo-situations. Does anyone else see a difference? My photos are "croppable" with both bodies.

Nice exposure for such bright light.

Is that their skin color or from muddling in mud puddles?

I tend to agree with you, rejay. I've only had my 1DXii for a few weeks, and honestly, I don't see much difference between it, and my 5DIV, other than the high frames/sec rate of the 1DXii (I do like this feature).
I switch back and forth between my 3 custom shooting modes quite often when going from BIF to static shots. For me it's much quicker to do with the 5DIV than the 1DXii. As time goes on, and I really get a lot of shooting under my belt with the 1DXii, I think I come to see more noticeable advantages with this camera body.

I've had both since Sept, 2016. I slightly prefer the 1DX2 images. The difference is very subtle, but after processing thousands of images from each camera, I tend to like the 1DX2 images better.

I love the 14 fps of the 1DX2. It helps a lot with BIF, airplanes, grandkids, etc. So if I could only have one body, that would be it. That said, I almost always carry both bodies when I'm shooting. The 1DX2 usually has the 100-400 II on it; the 5D4 has a 16-35 or 24-105 on it. I'm really happy with that, and I don't have any plans to replace the 5D4 with another 1DX2.

Image editing ok; C&C always welcome.

It's possible to do with a single key press on the 1DX Mark II. You do it easily with your eye still at the eyepiece and no change of grip of the camera. I doubt the 5D Mark IV will support it that fast.

When I'm using two cameras, I'm usually combining the 1DX with the 1DX Mark II.

One more (previous to #3 above) managed to clone out the 2 ambulances that were in the background.

Very nice scene
This is what those planes are part of. Taking off into the unknown.
Landscape is inseparable part of that IMO.
I see ones a two seater. Are they originals?

Beautifully photographed.

I think it's a mixture of mud and dust. There was plenty of both in their exhibit.

Hi Richard,

Not sure if that particular 2 seater is original (guessing it is) they had a few buit for high level recognisance I believe - camera man in the rear seat. They now use it for passenger flights out of Biggin Hill air strip - NOT a cheap treat!!
