Here's a video I shot at a preserved railway in Hampshire UK, there are plenty of others from subsequent years on my YouTube Channel

http://youtu.be/eIzxULLcEiU (external link)

Sorry can't provide that distinctive smell, but Enjoy :-D

Thanks Ken
Watched that one and will check out others.
Yes - all but the smell. Some young ones in the engine which is good to see.
When 31806 came to a halt it gave a graphic demonstration of what it means 'to let off steam'
Puts meaning into that expression. Lot of hissing but going nowhere :p
Anyway, back on topic, thanks again.
That video is very well done IMO.

Two beauties. Beautifully showing steam trains in their natural setting.

Probably gathered, but I love steam.
Whilst Google is good, from DownUnder it doesn't always show UK stuff.
Any links to working steam trains that are running on daily, weekly, monthly etc appreciated thanks
Asking Google the right question is they key, but that's not my forte :p

Heres a link to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) webcams, the link is to the Grosmont Station camera you will find others on their website..

Yes they are both taken at Mooregates, but from opposite sides of the track. I was stood by the tree in Happyduck's picture.

Much appreciate your input.
Thank you.
It's obvious steam engines are a great attraction and job creator over there.
It's difficult to convey that message here to those who know :-(
