Nice image. :-)
And before anybody says something, I see where her trigger finger is. Good thing this forum is based on photography, not gun safety.
Carry on... ;-)a

Not sure why it took so long for me to find a gun thread haha This is an FN1903 that my grandfather gave to me.

As the story goes; My grandfather was an MP in WWII. He was in France, late 1944. My grandpa and another guy were processing German POWs. This was found in the bag of a 13 y/o German solderer. My Grandfather's partner the one who had originally confiscated it. Some time in 1945, they (my grandpa and his friend) were getting ready to rotate back to the world and the friend, got cold feet and didn't want it. So, my grandpa took it and stashed it. In Apr 2015 while visiting my grandparents, my grandpa called me to his room and handed me his lockbox. As I opened the box, he told me, "Out of everyone in the family, I know you would appreciate this more than anyone. Which is why I want you to have it."

My father passed away before I was born and my grandparents raised me. My grandfather was a living legend in my eyes. They also home schooled me, so when it came time for History class...I was being taught by someone who was there. How had seen the things written in the history books happen.

what a great backstory to the image, thanks for sharing both.

Photo from a precision rifle match. The shooter had a beautiful sleeve tattoo and the oak tree branches made a lattice background.

I apologize if I can’t post this but if anyone is interested, I wrote a short book walking through how I take my photos. Even edits and custom filters. It’s called Product Photography Secrets: How I Get Those Clean Product Shots. It’s available on Amazon Kindle. DM me if you need a link. Not sure I can post that here in public.

Nice looking gun, and looks like it might be accurate? Caliber?
