I'd guess that the bottom image is a florescent light bulb.

Good eye, Paul. I think both images are of a CFL.

Absolutely lovely and creative, Julia. It has a soft, "heavenly" touch to it.
Hope you're doing well

((((( )))))

:)

I'm really enjoying this old, beat up Vivitar. I've never owned a normal, 1:1 macro (MP-e65, 180mm, 2-100mm's & Nikkor 55mm - but it's 1:2)

Thank you, Renata.

Awww, thank you♥
Well, it isn't necessarily the latest lens, Julia. It's the creativity which you seem to have in your DNA. And often the older lenses render objects much better than the latest "sterile" electronically controlled beasts. Vivitar is a very good brand and I've had several in the analog days and loved them all.
Anyway, you are the creator, visionary and the artist. And you know how to to bring the best out of those old lenses.
Hugs again.

Thank you. I pointed my camera at something colorful, set the SS to 0.5 sec and deliberately moved the camera. Whatever came out is what you see.:)
