Nice work!

We need more shots like this, color opposites, strong foreground, interesting shapes.

This morning we saw this sun-halo, which is an atmospheric phenomenon caused by high, thin cirrus clouds. Tiny ice crystals in Earth's atmosphere create the halos by refracting and reflecting the light.

I grabbed this shot using in-camera Auto Exposure Bracketing (7 frames) and offset the mid-point 1 stop under. HDR assembled in LR and then finished in PS CC.

The actual scene looked very similar to the final image, a testimony to the dynamic range of our Mk I eyeballs.:-)

Cheers

Dennis

Amazing. I love seeing these natural phenomenon.
You've certainly captured that beautifully.

Oh yeah, I'm on a long term assignment back in my home town. It's a blessing! I figured since my house is in Houston, I'd keep it that way.
