That would be an interesting experience.
I'll just settle for that 2002 thanks in your first post.

Someone's gone to town with the 740. Quite a work of art

Thanks! There were some nice ones, here are few more. Yes that 740 was painted inside and out!

Oh dear. Cut it out! Sigh! :p
My second BMW was a 2002. Wish I still had it.
Two beautiful ones there. Thanks for sharing.

I was interested in seeing how well the Canon 300mm F4 IS lens works with RP.
Both are hand held. 1/250 F4, ISO 400

Some Lightroom processing. Second one is 100% crop.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement battery door for the RP?

Thanks,

Wow that thread is dead! I didn't expect this camera to be the most popular, but this still defies belief. Nevertheless, I'm kinda glad I joined the club. Looking forward to start posting photos, which should happen soon enough.

My absolute first impressions (some negative points tbh, there are many positive ones) shooting all morning with the camera, in my first real shoot with it, is how stupid battery-inefficient it is. Took me two fully charged batteries to shoot 700 images - that less efficient than I was hoping the camera would be. That being said all my cameras share the same battery and I have many so shouldn't be too much of an issue. Moreover, shutter lag is more than I thought. Otherwise I'm quite looking forward to shooting more with it!

Just got my SmallRig L-plate. Haven’t had it long enough for a serious test but everything about it seems good so far.

Do you know if that plate works with the extension grip?

I don’t know for sure, SmallRig doesn’t mention it but I would make a guess at no.

so here's an image... it's technically slightly misfocused, but in my opinion not in a way that interferes with the image.
