Saw this curious little Red Fox while out at Bombay Hook NWR. He didn't seem to mind the car too much and got within about 8 ft when I parked the car. I nabbed several shots from the car although when I tried to get out to get some more shots he/she retreated into the grass.

So today, late afternoon I wish someone had actually been with me and recorded this, The raven was alone at one end of the railing and me at the other , 70-200 zoom on full frame and I have a set of 9 of him slowly shuffling up to me as I slowly zoomed back on the lens, he got to within my actual reach but by that time the lens would no longer focus so he was closer than a metre. It is strange that they seem to just come to me. These are uncropped]

I like the pics and liked the backstory just as much.
