Brown Pelican agitating water

Fantastic images Folks.

I observed this Pelican vigorously slapping the water with its wings.
I think it was some type of mating ritual.
Happy trails.

Black Phoebe playing Marco Polo with his buddy on the other side of a stream in Munds Park, AZ. There were wildflowers on the bank 20 feet behind him, hence the colorful background.

This is a great photo, Mike. The detail in the feathers, bill and eye has a perfect amount of sharpness and clarity in my opinion. I also like the soft pastel background colors.

Beautiful bird and especially the color background. I wonder if this was the natural background out of the camera or were you able to create a different, more colorful one?

Here's the cactus. It's very old and has a host of problems, but it's still producing flowers and fruit.
