Sony Lounge Thread MKIII (All Sony cameras welcome)

In my never ending struggle, I'm now thinking I'll preorder the 35mm if the AUD price is reasonable.

I feel bad about selling the Art since it is a good lens and I do love the f/1.4 aperture, I just care more about size and weight these days.

By 8-9 they're impossible to photograph, enjoy it while it lasts.

LOL...she is 8 as of about a month ago...and she is coming back around to it...but the trick is letting her see them on the back of the camera. She is starting to learn what looks good in a picture and what doesn't...she has been pretty tolerant this week with it...and she likes the attention for sure.

LOL...there was a time that I couldn't even point the camera at her, she would run off or make really ugly faces at me...

Went out to Caffeine & Octane this past weekend...remembered why I don't go in the summer...it was hot, too hot.

Thanks! One thing about walking around with just the 85, you look for little details and things that most people pass right over.

A couple more...cause I am bored at work on Friday and the ADD monster has taken up residence in my office today...

^very nice...makes me wish I carried the camera around more on our vacation...I did a little, but not enough. That last one is why I want the 35ZA...love the one of the little boy in the air, just what the a9 was made for.

on a related note, I love what sigma did with that FP, been wanting a camera like that, bare bones that you build with parts, awesome. In video mode, it's an all out black magic like device, and photo mode, it's a lot different, contrast detect, and electronic shutter ONLY (yet at the same time it can use a flash?). Really digging the modular design, 371g camera..... awesome. Very modular design that you build to your liking.

Missing a ton of features compared to Sony, but really dig the concept.

Yeah I'm digging it too. I like the idea of a modular camera.

This makes me re-think I can get away with just cell phone shots in some situations. Sure the phones are pretty amazing now, but do not compare to what you capture here. I think I need to up my abilities as well. I will make a concerted effort to bring out the camera more. It's not like the A7 is bulky. I have no excuses.
