A rare one for me. It's either an Apache or a Cardinal, I'm leaning toward Apache. They're usually very shy, this one stood still for a little bit.

A couple photos of a Wandering Spider in Monteverde, Costa Rica. It was super humid and fairly rainy which caused my 7D to shut down 7 shots later. Fortunately it was back working after a couple days of drying out it was back working.

Spitting Spider (Scytodes thoracica)
[It spits a venomous sticky silken substance over its prey. This particular spitting spider features the presence of silk glands in its cephalothorax. Besides the silk glands in its abdomen, the spider also has silk glands connected with its venom glands. In this way the spider has the ability to make venomous silk.]
