Stunning photo Jan. Love the crisp detail and colour.
Beauty personified.

This beauty landed right in front of me. The original was full frame in the vertical. I thought I would try something different with the crop.
Please tell me what you think.

Like them both. Sharp and detailed. Love the pose.

Love these thoroughly natural scenes showing them off in their surroundings.

Marvelous low angle shot of this Ibis, Shalu. You were able to capture those frequently hard to get iridescent colors this bird has.

This low camera angle makes me feel like I'm right there with the Ibis's. Very nicely done shot, Shalu.

Great shot, Mike! I have not seen this bird in my local area yet, although birders report it sometimes.

Black-Crowned Night Herons

Fantastic images Shutterbugs.

The Adult Night Heron appears to be regurgitating something egg shaped for Junior.
Happy trails.

Hi Jan...

As others have said, this photograph is truly wonderful. Everything (vision, camera skill, processing) has come together on this one. Beautiful work.

Eastern bluebird baby in a nest box waiting to fledge. There are at least two in the box but I suspect three.
