REALLY liking how the moon was framed above the peaks.
Worth print & frame, IMHO.

Thanks for your kind words
Wasn't well planned, thought I'd try to wake that morning in time to see the partial.
I had no idea it was going to set where it did.
Took my 80D, got a few stills.
With more luck than good judgement, the shots turned out as well as they did.
Taken from a west facing hotel balcony (I didn't factor in the cold westerly wind blowing at me)
10 minutes in, went back to my room.
Swapped 80D for my backup 550D with a hand-me-down lens which was already mounted on a tripod - lesson learnt, should have taken main also.
Set up for video to find where moon seemed to be setting was a one in a million stroke of luck
Got 5+ minutes of video, family/friends on facebook gave it a thumbs up (if that's what they do on facebook)
