Same thing up here, Bill. H O T - I believe many of our friends north & east are having it even worse. :-/

That fledgling Eastern BB is a cutie! :)

Thanks, Phil. Yeh, I'm actually getting busy in my retirement job and might as well take in the work while the weather is like it is.

I forgot to comment on this wonderful shot the other day. Phil the detail is excellent and the mood of the shot is perfect.

Thanks Bill. Much appreciated!

That's really nice. I like that you didn't lighten the exposure.

Nothing much but heat going on in my part of the world right now. Most birds have gone undercover unless I travel to them. I have not seen the fledgling bluebirds since the day they fledged.

That's a great close-up. Crystal clarity on the bird and a nice bokeh.

Nice portrait shot of the house sparrow, Shalu. I'll bet those earwigs are a tasty snack. I've never tried any myself. :-)

Thank you very much, Mike! :-P

Had to google this one. Rufous Hummingbird? What a beaut!

Where are you people finding locations for these birds. All I see in my area (NYC) are American Robbins, Blue Jays and Cardinals.
