Thanks Eddie. That's an interesting option for sure. I do prefer the improved ergonomics of the a7RIV over the III, better EVF, and the extra weather sealing.

lenses > body in general, as they hold resale better in case you change your mind. As good as the R4 is, it will absolutely take a beating in prices, and when it does, you might have scraped up enough for the upgrade. I think that's how I'm going to approach sony bodies going forward, the only issue with my logic is that my own body takes a beating as well, maybe not as bad, but still a beating. I'll probably have to shell out 1500 for the upgrade, however if I dont upgrade or delay, that's 1500 that's pushed back further and further. Be sure to check greentoe, I already got a lower offer for the Tamron 17-28, so I'm going to wait a month or so before getting that one.
