Do you take the 36 on planes as a carry on?

Sure do.

Nothing moving. Overcast day. Got out between rains.

I'll try to head that way every couple of days. Eventually something will fly
for the test.

Strolled around Brisbane's waterfront, had dinner with a view, really nice.

The elk are getting horny. I can't wait for my 200-600 (I could have used the extra 2/3 or whatever stop of light here!). Here the bull is bugling at another male near by while two calves just hang out in the grass. The rut won't begin in full for another couple of weeks.

Nice. The rut doesn't start here until September.

I had some nice light this morning for some shooting around SATX. This is a scene with some interesting form and patterns from two hotels.

That second shot is gold, Renata. Very nicely done.

Off Topic.

I am looking at switching out my backpack. Currently using the Mindshift rotation 180 34L https://www.thinktankphoto.com …ducts/rotation180-horizon (external link). I like it but just dont use it like intended so going to sell it.

Thinking about going to one of these......... Anyone using one of the below have any comments?

Backlight 36L or 26L https://www.thinktankphoto.com …es/products/backlight-36l (external link)

or even as small as

https://www.thinktankphoto.com/collections/trailscape (external link)

thoughts?

I have the big Rotation 180 as well. Took it to Chile for almost a month.
Next trip in 34 days is MS Backlight 18.
I can't believe Travis carries on the 36 either.
I'd never get the 36 because of what I'd put in it and then not be able to lift it!
Eriet (I've posted this before, so sorry for the repeat) here's the MS Backlight 18 loaded for bear

That won't be the trip loadout. I've decided that if the 200-600 gets here to go all Sony. Won't know for 10 more days on that.
But this gives an idea of what can fit an 18L... and yep, all the junk around the pack in the pic easily fits inside.
I've just received yet another huge weight and space saver for the trip. I'll post up images if any are interested. It replaces my Dell XPS Touch 13 at 1/2 the weight
and even more space saving. I'd even thought of doing the trip just with a Samsung Tab S3 but when I saw the new unit forgot about the tablet altogether.

Lee the red car (and I don't know cars/names) takes me back to childhood.
My dad grew up in Avon Park Florida, and a few miles away a small city named Sebring. They had races there and my dad would
take me. I remember him pre-race walking around would not let me get anywhere close to any cars on display, telling me the paint
cost more than he made in a year.

Great black and white treatment. There is an almost a 'Metropolis' look to the buildings. I half expect to see the 'Daily Planet' sign on that building on the left.
