Church of St Mary Magdalene. Cobham. Kent. UK.

It is nice to note that the character has not been ripped out of this church by replacing the pews with chairs.

Interior View.

Attached to the Church is Cobham College. The college was converted to almshouses in 1598.

….We have rather a lot of ruined abbeys and priories here.

A combination of Vikings and Henry VIII will do that.

Hen Capel Lligwy (Old Lligwy Chapel) Anglesey, was originally built in the 12th century, but the upper parts of the walls were reconstructed in the 14th century. A small chapel, with a crypt underneath, was added in the 16th century. (I think the farmer would rather not have visitors with all the over friendly cows)

Nice detail Jack. Perhaps we could ‘Prioritise’ these pics :-)

Haha! That's the most painful pun I've heard today! :-P

St Thomas of Canterbury Church is a Roman Catholic Parish church in Canterbury, Kent, England. It was built from 1874 to 1875 in the Gothic Revival style. It is situated on the corner of Burgate and Canterbury Lane, west of Lower Bridge Street, opposite the grounds of Canterbury Cathedral in the centre of the city. It is the only Roman Catholic church in Canterbury.
