SOOOOO nice!

i usually try to shoot the ceilings myself, but i dont remember why i didnt in this church. might have been because of the lighting. i dont remember (was 6 years ago) but they were in the middle of restoration of the big stained glass window too, so i must have been distracted...

Thank you. My wife and I visited in December 2012 and the chapel was undergoing renovation so I wasn’t able to get this image until six years later in December 2018.

The St Mary Magdalene’s chapel (near Krasíkov, West Bohemia) was built in 1650. In 1710 it was extended and renovated by the current owner of the estate, Countness of Vrtba. The last major reconstruction dates back to 1880-1891 whea a Pseudo-Gothic tower was added to zhe chapel. In the 1960s, the chapel was vandalised.
