Baseball Thread - T-Ball to Pro (Share your best photos)

I honestly am not a lover of pitcher shots as many all look alike to me. I generally try to minimize how many I shoot. But that said, the backgrounds at the Durham Bulls venue provides is just so super clean had to share the mandatory 'pitcher' shot.

Bill,
I see you shot with a 5DsR body. Why did you choose that body? Not typically a "Sport body"

I'm a detail whore and I'm trying to learn to shoot it better... It's the body th goes with me on a regular occasion, I really love it for portraits and landscapes, but it's not very forgiving. Also, it's hard going back to the 7DII smaller image size.

I will sometime shoot my 5DIV as a secondary body with the 70-200mm f2.8 when I use my 300mm f2.8 on my 1DXII body. Having the extra pixels is nice, but the AF is not near as good.

You're lucky to have a young one playing, the journey is a lot of fun! I'm going to need grandkids to reboot, and there's nothing works - lol! Georgia is a hotbed for youth baseball, but did I hear Perfect Game is moving its headquarters to Texas?

If you will pull the highlights down, your shot of your son will sharpen up.... fun stuff.
