Great shot, ontonagondave!

I’m curious, f/22? I used to be a big stop it down all the way for DoF guy. But I read a few articles on diffraction and do find I’m getting sharper images f/8 to f/11 with the X-T3. Diffraction shows up early on the APS-C sensor, beginning at f/10. George Douvos has some excellent articles and also some super cool DoF apps that deal with the DoF/diffraction balance. I have a lot of f/20-f/22 shots from my 5D4 that are clearly softer than they needed to be.

You have posted some great shots. Thanks for the advice regarding f22. I just read an article on landscape photography that said the same thing you did. Guess I will be making a switch.
