Ground Goo is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Aiken County Historical Museum in Aiken, SC. I'm not sure what this "stuff" is, but I liked the color and randomness of it.

Mottled is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Aiken County Historical Museum in Aiken, SC. I think I hit the shedding stage of their Crepe Myrtle trees at the perfect time with gorgeous light. I can't recall ever seeing such colorful displays. Though I did help some of the bark fall off which meant that I found it in a state where it had not yet been exposed.

Candy Colored is an older image from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Rye Patch in Aiken, SC. I found it next to the house in one of the side gardens, and I was attracted to it by the colors and the random scattering of greens.

Slit is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at Swan Lake Iris Gardens in Sumter, SC. This is actually a focus stack that was good enough to keep. Normally the software produces too many artifacts in the final image that I just can't get past and I end up throwing them out.

Expansive is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Grove Plantation near Adams Run, SC. I liked how this thistle appeared to be expanding outwards in all directions.

Hi Five is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at Hopeland Gardens in Aiken, SC. I loved how chaotic and random the scene on this butterfly bush was.

Epicenter is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at Hopeland Gardens in Aiken, SC. This stokes aster was covered in pollen, but for my artistic intent, that was a good thing.

Stamen Pile is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Rye Patch in Aiken, SC. It is interesting how the magnolia flower catches the stamen in the petals as the fall away from the flower.

X-Factor is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Aiken County Historical Museum in Aiken, SC. This is a primrose I found in one of the gardens next to the building.

Purple Spots is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Aiken County Historical Museum in Aiken, SC. This is what foxglove looks like on the inside. :-)

Drenched is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at Hopeland Gardens in Aiken, SC. I loved the colors in this one and the shapes of the drops.

Layers is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Aiken County Historical Museum in Aiken, SC. I liked the sunstar feel of this dandelion.

Life Lines is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Aiken County Historical Museum in Aiken, SC. This canna lily leaf was backlit which really gave a nice little boost to the colors.

Fractured is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at Dreher Island State Park in Prosperity, SC. I loved the icy/crystalline look of this pine sap.
