I also have lots of love for the 40mm STM for the price:performance.

The other surprise even though I still don't like it is the 18-55 EF/M. Shortly after buying the M3 did this shot. That lens had a decentered element and eventually was replaced by Canon. The new one is a tick better but still has some issues. Liveable... In spite of, the shot was very nice.

Left corner on the railing is the G15 doing a time lapse. The 24-70/2.8 on this trip decided to have one of the zoom collar bushings seize so the lens was inoperable. Nothing like being forced to use an alternate camera.

found the lens today at my local camera shop, used, for $30. not too bad. I had to pump up the exposure by +0.5
going to put this lens on my EOS630
