I'll offer a thought. If you created a third crop of the image, cropping the building just below the line of dark bricks at the top of the first floor I think the image would be more effectively balanced.

In the first image, the bottom of the building is partially cropped at the lower left and it accentuates the uneven ground level.

In the second image the crop cuts through the middle of the first floor windows, giving the impression of a "mistake", if you will.

Of course these are just my thoughts, and if you combine them with $1.25 you might be able to get a cup of coffee. :-)

I always welcome thoughts.... How can one learn from others if they don't listen? I like the idea of the third crop and see what you mean about the window, which was really to get rid of the entrance area on the Lower Left of the first crop.

Perhaps your dark area crop and crop out the windows entirely??? hmmmmm.
