Yes I did, autofocus worked very well with my 200D,I was surprised.

Any lens that does not have AF contacts on it will never see and report the TC, whether the TC is a "reporting" one or not.

A Kenko DGX TC, however, will intercept the communication between the body and lens and change it, with compatible bodies and lenses, allowing AF but reporting f/8.

That's a great use of phenomenon usually considered to be a nuisance.

Thanks - it's the exhaust pipes of the 'Pentalina' - the ferry that does the Gill's Bay to Orkney crossing of the Pentland Firth. I was set up with the 100-400 plus x1.4 to photograph the seabirds on the way over, when I spotted the scene while waiting to leave Gill's Bay. Looks like the glass they fit to bathroom windows. :p

King Kanoa-noa, DETHRONED!!!

He couldn't make it a three-peat, but fought till the end in the quarter finals... Still lots of love and respect in representing the sport and Surf City, USA!!! 1Dx + 600LIS + 2x TC II... ISO 1250, f/14 @ 1/2500sec... 1,200mm FOV was hard feat to accomplish... I'm glad was able to control some of the panning while getting decently sharp captures... Lot's of light helped out... Would've been a different story if the weather was overcast and foggy... Anyhoo... These are full framed images... No cropping whatsoever!!!

:)
