Hey guys! I'm looking for a 2nd/3rd body and have whittled it down to the 6DII or the 5D4. This camera will basically be relegated for one purpose - underwater photography in an indoor swimming pool with lighting. I am currently using a 1DxII, but the weight of the camera body and housing is wearing on me a little bit, so I am looking for something lighter in weight.

My intent was to use my EOS R, but at this point, I'm simply not sure that the focusing system can handle the tracking when shooting at 3.5 under exposed.

So, given the limited use, do you guys feel the 6DII could handle this? My 1DxII sings and, in previous use, the 5D4 was excellent. I assume the 6DII can handle it but wanted some true user opinions.

I own all three. The 1DX2 is indeed a delight. My 6D2 is only on a tripod, static subject (mostly macro), manual focus using the flippy screen. When you mentioned "handle the tracking" given that you're currenlty using a 1DX2, I got a bit nervous about the 6D2. My 7D2 (long gone) was skittish with tracking. I find the 6D2 to be similar. The 6D2 is not a 1DX2. I don't know how to estimate if it would be "good enough" in your conditions. I do think the 5D4 would be fine.
