Not sure of new shutter cost, but think there is still a lot of life left in it. Especially for the casual shooter that doesn't rattle off 2,000 shots per game as someone like myself does. I have a 7D with approx. 250,000 shutter count & I still use it. I think $300 is a great deal.

I don't know if you're speaking in US or CA dollars, but I've just sold a 6D for $700CA, and that felt difficult (and it had only 20,000 shutter count). $300 for one with so much more feels ambitious, either in US or CA dollars.

Took mine out for a bit of motorsport yesterday and it surprised me at how well it did.

My 5D3 is sitting on close to 400K shutter actuations. I am finally thinking about sending it in for a replacement shutter box. It is just too noisy to continue to use at weddings. It still takes perfect images, just too noisy for what I use it for.

That depends on where you're coming from. For me, I was very impressed with the way the 6D handles higher ISO (bought 2). However, I was coming from crops sensors & old crop sensors at that, the original 7D. This topic came up in another thread and it seems people already used to FF were not as impressed as those of us moving to FF for the first time.

EDIT: It also matters as to what you consider "high" ISO. So far the highest I needed to go is around 5000. IMHO, the 7D was unusable above 2000 ISO.

Well.... it depends what you mean with well...
I was coming from the 60D and the difference was really substantial - but it has a lot to do with a newer generation of sensors. Compared with a 80D the difference is marginal - and I don't even know how the latest sensors are comparing.
