Note: the EXIF info for my recent images shows "Sony FE 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS". I'm actually shooting an FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS lens. The POTN gear database needs to be updated.

The speed at which this thread travels is flabbergasting.

I took the Tammy 150-600 out for a spin yesterday. Not may subjects, until this juvenile Scissortail perched on the branch I used to photograph his parents on - right next to my car. Lol!

This shot is especially nice, Lee. The low camera angle, and sharpness of the image really makes it appealing.

What a nice capture here, Phil. This bird's pose is really cool, and the overall composition of the shot is great.

Outstanding capture of this beautiful little "greenie," Tom!! For me, they've always been a tough bird to get close enough to for a decent shot.

Wow...my blunder on that, Shalu. I truly apologize. I definitely need to slow down and read more carefully what people say.

Thank you for the nice comment on the mallard family shot.
_______________

This shot of the Red-necked Phalarope getting airborne is and excellent image. I like the water droplets flying off, the green plant stuff on it's feet, and also the wing blurr, which really creates a nice sensation of motion.

Thank you very much, Mike! No worries, thanks for the useful information to tell apart the male/female mallard.
