There is always the lovely smell of dirty pennies on your hand after use, as well! LOL.
I'm a fidgeter so after playing with it for a while (while also trying to add the the patina) the copper smell is pretty strong.

Loving my ZT0560BW!
I used my Epson Expression 10000XL to scan the knife and is a reason for the lack of meta data...

Combining three hobbies - photography, knife collecting and rock collecting/polishing. Serge Pachenko "Kiridashi", blade is 1 1/2". Background is polished and tumbled Tiger Eye from Africa.

Hey Win, this knife reminds me somewhat of a scalpel. Nice shot demonstrating a combination of hobbies.
Are you still hanging out on BF also?

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Yup, still over on BF, not buying much but love seeing what makers are up to. I've always loved the Kiridashi design, whether traditional or a more modern example, actually a very handy design, the Japanese know how to keep it simple. The design might have been used as a scalpel, too.
