I have a rather silly question.

A local high school sports team wants a sunrise shot for their team poster. However, getting all the students in the proper location early in the morning is rather difficult. If we were to do a late evening shoot as the sun was setting, would it have the same look as if we did it first thing in the morning? Assuming that nobody recognizes the fact they would be facing East with the sun behind them?

Not sure where you are located although some of your images bear “Decatur.”

It actually is easy to tell the difference if you know what to look for. Whether it will affect the image(s) you may be after is a different matter. Check the write-up at https://photographylife.com …s-are-better-than-sunsets (external link) for one person’s take on the matter.

What are you using for post processing. There are some techniques available in some products that can help.

Hi neighbor!

Moved to Justin from Decatur 2 years ago(graduated and still work in Alvord).

But on the topic at hand, I do not know if one is particularly "better" than the other.
