It's been a while since I picked up the camera but Peacock season is upon us here in Australia so out came the equipment.
Here is a couple of shots of the Maratus Gemmifer which had only been discovered a couple of years ago

You should Google peacock spiders, there is now about 70 different species that have been documented and they are still finding new ones
There are quite few species over your way, you might even have them in your backyard
I do, didn't realise till I went looking :-D
