Seeing was average. This hurricane seasons has been nasty here in Florida. Haven't had much opportunity to see the sky. Anyhow, managed to get some data on the moon tonight and Jupiter & Saturn with it. Took a look at the 43% waxing crescent tonight in a wee 80mm F5 (400mm focal length) achromat and then did some high resolution surface imaging with a 200m F10 SCT with a 610nm filter to calm the seeing with a monochrome camera (ASI290MM). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() https://flic.kr/p/2hbEFej ![]() ![]() ![]() C8 Edge HD SCT + ASI290MM + 610nm Filter 80mm F5 Refractor + ASi290mm + 610nm Filter Hosted photo: posted by MalVeauX in ./showthread.php?p=18922724&i=i79538867 forum: Astronomy & Celestial Very best, Martin!! We had a good evening looking at our local gas giants and then spent a little time on our moon.
