You have to love the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia. It has so many suprises...like this beauty sitting under the brush.

I'd just seen a pheasant on the bird thread and thought how nice and yet how uncommon on this forum, and that we just needed a grouse to complement that an Voila.
(my dad used to reminisce on the grouse and pheasants etc in his childhood upbringing)
