if you call my farm dam 'wild' then yes.
Dams around this district have them.

We've two dams and both have at least 2 pairs.

I trod on a burrow at the edge of one our dams, in a bit of bush, foot went through below and there was quite a loud squeak.
I felt terrible

Was a famous gun editor and writer named Elmer Keith. His quote when asked if he knew of a place or had heard of it, was “hell, I was there!”(also wrote a book by same)
What this is about is, you are one of few people I know that can say, when asked if they’ve ever seen a Platypus, “hell yes, got them in my pond!” :)

Note: the EXIF info for my recent images shows "Sony FE 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS". I'm actually shooting an FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS lens. The POTN gear database needs to be updated.
