Interesting.
I see they built that with another lane/track in mind.
Judging by the pier widths and construction.
Was that once dual or still in the making?

Fascinating and beautiful old stone bridge.

The lower bridge over the river is a walking/bike bridge to get to the west side of the river path. Not sure when it was built. There is a plate on one end but it does not show the year. Both are part of the Fox River Trail.

Carpenter’s Bluff Bridge on the Red River between OKlahoma and Texas. I ran out of memory on my SD card so I used my iPhone for this picture.

The CCC smashed it with this one. It's like photographing artwork.

Just a humble footbridge in Cortez Park, Phoenix, Arizona, USA.. Was out in the heat* getting familiar with my new Leica Vario-Elmar-SL 24-90/2.8-4 on my Lumix S1R..

FWIW, after going THRU about eight UWA lenses, I've chosen the new Sigma native-L-mount 14-24/2.8 Art.. This Leica 24-90 is the EXCELLENT middle length, and the sharpest-lens-I've-ever-seen Canon 50mm Macro** TS-E and the EXCELLENT 100-400/L/IS/II, both on Sigma adapters, complete my requirements.
.
.
* September is still definitely summer in Phoenix. Our summers are five months long; then we have seven months of glorious nonsummer. It's NEVER winter in Phoenix. :-) :-D :-)
** One of the third generation of Canon TS-Es.

Do you know what the difference is in age between the two bridges?

The old bridge was completed in 1929, and the new in 1995.

Interesting little trail bridge over a dense forest floor. Good use of a fallen tree :-)
