I traded my gw690 iii for my Pentax 6x7. The negative was huge compared to my M645 that I'm currently shooting. I don't really miss the camera though. I found myself getting tired of the fixed lens and the somewhat long minimum focusing distance compared to my Pentax 6x7 lenses and my M645 lenses. That being said, if those aren't problems for you, it's an awesome camera. If I were to buy another one, I'd make sure it wasn't my only camera.
I prefer fixed lens cameras, and I like the idea of the massive negatives and actual rangefinder - I've never used a real rangefinder, lol. I'm thinking the RB might bet the way to go though, at least for now. I've also never used a waist level finder, though I did play with an RB67 at a local camera shop once. I should go back there now that I'm thinking about it, they had like 10 of them on the shelf. I guess they 'specialize' in them or something, and they were cheap, relatively speaking. It's been a couple years! I'll try to swing by there this week.
My GA645i is the most perfect travel camera as it has a pop-up flash, auto focus and is completely automated. But I want more control. I want to shoot at night and I still don't own a meter. I just metered the same thing with two different apps, lol. One gave me a 4 second exposure, the other 1/3. I'm afraid to use my phone to meter at night... (Light Meter App and one called Lux).
I'm sure I'll end up with all the cameras I want eventually. It just takes a bit longer as I don't sell anything, haha.
