I don’t like Sony bodies at all.

Unfortunately I’m totally addicted to the superior technology trapped inside those crappy Sony bodies.

I'm right there with you. I hear a lot of talk about the "experience" of using the bodies and how important that is, but for me at the end of the day I want the best image quality and feature set and I don't think that anyone can really touch Sony right now in these areas. The vast array of lens options is just icing on the cake. I also have a D500 and I feel like it wins in ergonomics by a large margin (especially with heavy lenses), but I stick with Sony for my general purpose photography for everything but wildlife. If the 200-600 was half a pound lighter, I'd be all in with Sony for everything.

a gripped a9, for me...is actually perfect. I really like everything about it. I like the extra knob on the top right that none of the others have, the Exposure Comp dial is just right, the AFON for BBF is right where I want it...when I go back to handholding the r2 I miss the a9 a lot.

Renting an a73 for a friend while he is here for Petit LeMans in a couple weeks...I am going to use it a bit too to see how I like it. I think it might be better for indoor sports since the FPS is higher in mechanical shutter...our gym has the worst, I mean worst lights...and the electronic shutter really struggles with banding. It means a lot of extra post work to minimize it. And even then I can't get rid of it. Mechanical shutter did a little better.

I am really interested on the rumored A9II but the rumored 5K USD pricetag is so out of range. I love those extra dials too.

you should see the SOOC! The lights are all high bay lights...they are not super bright and there are about 6 different color temperatures being used...they are not consistent...and its miserable. It is so bad, and I shoot in there so much, I am going to talk to the school about doing something about it...its dark too...I can't see how anyone plays sports in there.

The Sony A7r4 is made in Thailand so I'm assuming it escapes the Trump Tariff. The Sony A7iii is made in China but I have not seen any real change in the US prices due to the Trump tax on China made Sony cameras.

I'd be surprised if Sony increases the price of the initial price of the A9mk2 compared to the introduction of the A9. If there was a price increase this might be reflected due to a tariff if the A9mk2 is made in China.

Perhaps not all Sony A7iii are made in China. Mine was made in Taiwan.

I use the A9 with a grip, for motor sport, I also have a A7iii with a grip. I dont use it much as I like the A9 so much !

Just having fun with some nuts and bolts aka going nuts , plus some stationery. Shot on Surface Pro3 for black reflective surface. I really need to get a sheet of black acrylic.

that extra dial makes it a little cumbersome sometimes, but it means that I don't accidentally wind up on bracket when I want High frame rate...and it frees up the C buttons for other things...now that the card slot is working right again...I don't think I have ever been as happy with a camera as I am with the a9...

I took the rIV up here last weekend but the elk did not cooperate and were way far off. Trying again tomorrow, but here is one from a couple of weeks ago with the 200-600 and the A9
