I use the A9 with a grip, for motor sport, I also have a A7iii with a grip. I dont use it much as I like the A9 so much !

Same here...still want to try it out, would be nice to have 2 bodies shooting sports.

Oh, sorry. I had a quick look and thought it was Taiwan buy it's actually Thailand

My a9 was made in Thailand too...haven't checked the r2.

Turned out well for what you had to work with. Good luck convincing they need to buy lighting. Maybe they just need a new gym.

The light bulbs are all they need...10 lights, maybe 50 bucks each...would make a world of difference.

I'm looking at used lenses and stumbled across a site called MPB.com. I've never heard of them but their prices seem decent on a couple of lenses. Has anyone done business with them or heard anything good or bad about them? Thanks in advance.

I have heard of them, never used them myself.

That rubbery material on the a7R II’s handgrip came off my memory card door 2 years ago. Poorly made garbage imo. The handling and ergonomics of my last Canon camera (5DS R) is my gold standard for sheer shooting pleasure. Basically for me the touch/feel/operation aspect is all-Canon, but the image quality (IBIS, sensor, etc.) is all Sony.

Yeah the rubbery stuff on the battery door on my r2 has peeled off...they really upgraded the door on the a9....reminds me I need to get that door replaced.

Dang it I just bought the Tamron 17-28 Hope I like it.

I am Sony Pro evaluating the 24 1.4 GM on my trip and they are sending it early.

Also I'll get pics up this weekend but my A7r2 is back from getting cleaned and will let it go for $825

You will like it. the micro contrast is like a prime lens.

Bought from them a few times, including my A9, some nice deals for sure. I had an issue with the A9 but they resolved it.

Very nice - wonderful with the reflection! :)

Needs more processing for sure but thanks for the compliment. Funny, the pics looks ok here, better on Flickr, but looks crap at FM. How does that happen?

Wow. We put 12k miles a year on each of our cars before my wife started working from home. Now we put 12k on one car lol.

The reason I've pumped the breaks on the gear is that we're actually in the market for a new car. Wife wants a van. Hard no from me so I'm in the market for a full sized SUV. Probably going our first time buying an American car.

I just bought a car myself.
I found a Chevy Trax ( a cheap car to begin with) at the dealer who had used it as a loaner for people having their vehicles serviced. So a used vehicle (5800 miles) sold as new with complete warranty. I saved 30% of sticker offering them an amount they laughed at.....but called me back in an hour and said OK.

Point? Depreciation sucks and at least on cars I try not to suffer it.

Need help please.

Riv is here. Need to sell the Riii.
Have a man interested.
He asked what shape it is in. I told him the truth never dropped, never even a sprinkle on it. But on this past trip on 2 occasions when I pressed the play button the Riii released the shutter!
I bet he'll still want it....but I think I should send it to the Sony service center for a diagnostic.
Agreed?

Or tell the buyer about the two occasions and offer a discounted price?
