Thank you very much, Mike!

Very nice shot under bad light, Robert!

Cool looking bird, Bill! I have never seen one.

That's a winner! Love the reflection. A beautiful capture.

(Your bird's one of the yellowlegs - a Greater Yellowlegs, I think.)

Woot, my first Yellowleg. Thanks so much for the ID.

Thanks MedicineMan - I nearly didn't bother to post these in face of the excellent competition.

Thanks Mike. Yes I go for #1.

Don't hesitate. We love all effort. If I based my postings on Mike's, Shalus, Weja, Ed(s), Pauls, Jacks, Melissas , well heck just everyone else then I wouldn't post at all.

AND I wouldn't have learned I imaged a Yellowleg...how cool is that :)

Awesome shot of this male spoony just starting to color up, Shalu. It's simply perfect.

Out of curiosity, why do you think that Robert's yellowlegs shot is a greater rather than a lesser. I tend to agree with you, but I just wanted to know what you based your decision on?

We have ducks 1-2 blocks away.
They fly out before the Sun crests the hill and fly in after dark.
So an experiment of ISO 12K
