^^^ That's a nice couple of series Rosey, but your architechturals/abstra​cts appeal to me more than the landscape, but then again, that is just me, not a comment on its merits at all.

Not taken as a comment on merits - it's all very personal, and actually I am pretty rapt with some of those architectural images. I used to never be able to see it, but am developing an eye for it. Of course the subject matter was vast in lovely Wellington :-), and Te Papa alone has wonderful angles and lines.

And actually the foreground in the landscape is hopeless. I needed to be up a hill somewhere I think.

GAS overcame a week or so ago - the Lumix 100 -300 f/4 - 5.6. On other forums people said the 100 - 400 is so much better, but I simply don't have $$$$ to match th the GAS. Anywya I am very pleased so far. Snaps as you do with new gear :-)

St Mary of the Angels Wellington - probably one of the most beautiful churches I have ever been in. No tripod unfortunately.

Thanks, they were taken with my Canon M5 as it fits nicely into my work bag, with the 55 - 200 lens. Rested camera on the back of a pew, but want to get back there with tripod and do some brackets for HDR. Might take the G9 as well to compare, as the M5 only does three bracketed shots.
