it was actually just a plain wall... I normally use seamless paper OR muslin backdrops, but for this particular shoot, I initially had other things planned where I didn't need a backdrop... then we just kept on shooting, changing light positionings etc etc... but to answer your question, NOT a black background, and it was only one light

Why did you post this same picture in so many threads on this forum? Wow

There seems to be a group that posts the same image in every thread it may fit in. I suggest using the "ignore member" option, it cut down on the redundant posts.
