Great shot. I love the narrative behind it as well.

iPad Pro users - iPadOS is now out if you haven’t already seen it. I’ve installed but not had a chance to play with it. Biggest change for me is you can now plug in external drives!

Waiting impatiently for Adobe to roll out iPad Pro version of PS.

Yeah that would be perfect. I’d even settle for the ability to add my nik filters to Lightroom mobile

Hi all, quick question on remotes. Anyone use the JJC, or do most here go for the new sony remote with all the trimmings? I need it for long exposures and to trigger the odd group photo with me in!

The sony is expensive! I cant see me finding a use for the zoom in and out control on remote? Anyone found this to be helpful in real life? I like the bluetooth connectivity as presumably you dont then need direct line of sight to the camera.

I searched here for the JJC but search found very little!

Thanks

I do have both, but the Sony Bluetooth is amazing. You simply start using it and it pairs. It behaves like a radio remote in that no line of sight necessary. Custom button a can replicate C1, zoom, and tally light

I don't. I literally just have a cheap wired one or occasionally use the App - that doesn't always stay connected though!! I only really use the remote for bulb exposures.

I use the Hahnel Captur. It works on both bodies I have...is radio not IR, does single frames, timelapse, intervalometer and long exposure. Now that the a9 has intervalometer built in I want to check out the new bluetooth remote for it so that I can run two cameras separate.

What do people think of K&F stuff? I've seen a tripod which fits my height requirements, it's 1.5kg, carbon fibre and costs about a Saturday mornings worth of overtime......

I have one of their alumimum tripods, it seems OK for what it is. As I what a very short tripod to go into a case.

Thanks. I'm not expecting miracles... But a carbon fibre one is listed at £99.99 at the moment. I was going for something £250-300 range like 3 Legged Thing or similar but my usual kit is A7 and CV40 1.2E which is what, just over 1kg.....
