On 4-17-11, a tire went flat on a trailer. It was near noon and already over 100F,with a 25+S wind. The driver continues to drive and the tire caught fire. That fire was over 20 miles north of our land. We managed to get off, but lost our land and and Everything. It was Very hot by the time it reached our land.
The guns were some of the few things that were found and recognized. Many guns were never found. !?

That’s the short answer.

Thanks for asking.

WOW! That sure is a shame. Sorry to hear this.

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

I think all of you, the sequentially numbered guns the revolvers came from a auction in Arizona and the woodsman's came from a private party in Oregon I have a factory letters on all of them did they were shipped to the Boston Police department back in the 30s it is amazing they stayed together all those years, they also shoot really nice, which is a nice thing about collecting use guns you can take him to the range

I collect Boston Police guns, have a large collection and even created a website for them ( www.bpdguns.com (external link) ) of course the pictures on the website are horrible keep meaning to upgrade them.
I also do local gun shows to display my collection that dates from 1872 to present. I have a world class collection of Boston Police Pistol Team revolvers and semi's. Probably the best in the country.

my two sets of pistol team guns are unique, a 3 gun set of Colt Officers Model Target Revolvers from 1932 sequentially serial numbered, There were only 11 sent to BPD and only 3 were sequential, these are them. and 2 sequentially serial numbered Colt Woodsman's, there were 10 with BPD all sequential, I heard there is one of them on the west coast.
Here are some of my guns at local shows

A VERY fine collection indeed!
When you say that you collect Boston Police guns, you should put an exclamation mark at the end. :)
Impressive!!

I thought so, I used to volunteer for GOAL and of course I always took a walk through the show when my shift was done. I will definitely look for you if I go to the show in Wilmington.

I carry an XDS frequently, but struggle to shoot it as well as my other subcompacts because of my hand size and the grip shape. You strike me as a guy with big hands, any thoughts on the Hellcat vs XDS?

Nice little Springfield. I see you opted for no Red Dot on yours. A friend is all excited about getting one.

My hands are fairly big and the Hellcat doesn’t feel right in my hand without the 13round mag. Same goes for the p365. I need the extended mag for it to feel secure gripping it. I’ve never been a fan of the XD series. When Springfield approached me on this, I was a bit hesitant but they said they were bringing something new to the industry. So I decided to see what it was. I haven’t shot it yet but it feels a bit beefier than the p365 and the trigger feels real nice dry firing.

interesting, I love my XD40...my hands are not huge, but not small either...I would want ot put hand on the Hellcat to try it out.

Springfield came to you...must be nice. So do you shoot all of these images for manufacturers, or are these personal collection pieces...just curious...
