After years and years of banging around in the top box, my 5D is still alive and clicking.

I am thinking about picking up another one of these. I think I'm going to sell my broken 5D for parts, and my low mileage 6D for another 5Dc. I will never warm up to this 6D, and it will be a cheap bridge for wherever I end up next.

Hi everyone. I am new to this forum so apologies if this is not the correct place to post this. I live in the UK and recently did a test to my 5D classic and I suspect it is back focusing.

What can you guys recommend me to do? I am using it with a 50mm f/1.8 stm.

Welcome to the forum ~ Does is back focus with other lenses? I sure wish I could correct my 100L 2.8 macro IS front focus issue.

The 5Dc seem to be pretty cheap recently! I saw a couple on local craigslist for $250. :-) Mine is being used decoratively on desk since The Incident.

Handy Android app called "Light Meter - Free" for exposure suggestions, good reviews.

Mine is still on the shelf behind my desk, lol.

I’ve mentioned it before, but January of ‘18 I dropped mine right on the lens. Everything works aside from the AF being way, way off. Haha. I was so mad at myself.

Popped the 50 STM on my 5D this morning (still have to test for front/back focusing). I was admittedly surprised how wide it was compared to APS-C :p
I posted a pic of my dirty sensor about a month ago and someone suggested I use a Rocket Blower. I have one and forgot to use it :oops: but as an update - I have a clean sensor after using it

a few snaps from this morning ~

I believe I'm the guilty party. I too have a Rocket Blower that I've cleverly hidden from myself. I'll find it eventually.
Your images look so much nicer without those dust bunnies hopping around in them. ;-)a

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.
