My new 6Ds now allow me to use a lens at night games that would normally stay home.

It was a long night for Dalton...………….

I'm not into sports, but this is an excellent shot.
Who said the 6D is no good for sports? Just goes to show how versatile this wonderful camera really is.

I wonder what AF setting was used? I can’t get a cat in focus if it’s walking towards me... Probably going to sell mine very soon. Either buying another 5Dc or Fuji. After a year and a half, I still don’t like the camera. Chances are real good that I’m never going to warm up to it, lol. Decent camera, but not for me.

I upgraded from 5d to 6d and didn't like it. Photos from 5D are more pleasant to me. Maybe i sel the 6D and get a 5D MkIII...-?

This seems to jive with what I've been hearing/reading about the 6D: The people that are not impressed with the 6D seem to be people that have already owned some version of a FF, and the ones that are pleased with it (as myself) have just moved from a crop sensor so the FF 6D is a vast improvement.

I only use the center focusing point & usually have it set to AI SERVO. It's obviously not on par with the 5D series or 1 DX.

Same! The old 12mp 5D makes the most pleasing images of any camera I’ve ever used. I do not like the colors I get from the 6D - red/magenta in particular. I just left a camera shop and was thoroughly impressed with the EOS R, and of course the X-T2 and X-Pro2. Either of those Fuji cameras or another 5Dc is in my future I think.

I am sure other greater and more expensive cameras could take a better produced photograph than the 6D. I stepped up from the 7D and the difference was remarkable. I could not justify the extra expense of a 'better' full frame camera. For me this is an enjoyable hobby and the quality of the photographs I take are well within my expectations. When a professional photographer take a shot he needs all the help technology can offer him, this comes at a huge price.
