Very nice Richard. Are these birds fairly tame around you, or are they skittish like most birds?

There's a small group that are fairly tame but the others are not so.
Some disappear quickly or tantalise by flitting out of range each time you creap up.
If I'm quiet and move slowly some tolerate my presence.

Our Cranky Fans (Grey Fantail) are different and true to their name. They will fly right up to you and flit about your head. Even come and inspect things when hanging the washing out, landing on the line or the basket.

If we sit outside those little wrens will come quite close. I should do that more often :-)

I think I’m going to have to be a bit more adventurous trying to find some exotic birds. All we seem to have around here are Sparrows and Robins!

Two very nice birds in a very natural setting. I know they're just doing what ducks do, but you've captured the moment beautifully.
