I picked up a new Samyang 24mm f/1.4 lens for astrophotography yesterday, and took advantage of the clear skies last night to test it out. This Milky Way panorama was taken at Wivenhoe Dam west of Brisbane. The panorama was made my stitching 3 rows of about 8 overlapping images, each of which was a 15 sec exposure at f/2.0 and 3200 iso. Very happy with how the lens performed on what was a fairly hazy evening!
