No we don't have them at all. Well, there are some in the southern NT, in the arid zone, but not up here in the Top End. We have a few cycads though. They look a bit similar but I don't think they're all that closely related. Here are some Cycas calcicola four days after a fire that should never have been allowed to get into this rocky area, and the second photo shows some 28 days after a fire, sprouting new, soft, felt-like leaves that will, in time, get hard and spikey before dying off in about 12 months.
